27 Jan Central Coast Events Guide: Paint & Sip at The Foundry Cowork Erina
When you’re thinking of Central Coast Events, anything combined with a vino gets a big tick from us! And who doesn’t love a good natter over a glass of vino? What about showing your creative side while you do that?
Well The Tipsy Painter and The Foundry Cowork have partnered to do just that and we’ve listed the event on our Central Coast Events Guide.
The Tipsy Painter launched in late 2019 as a mobile ‘paint and sip’ experience, bringing the popular concept into homes around the Central Coast. The business soon took off and its owner, Ian Goodwin, realised he needed a permanent space for situations where the host’s home wasn’t an option.
At the same time, Mel from The Foundry Cowork was scouting for an artist to run similar events in her coworking space at Erina and discovered The Tipsy Painter’s Facebook page. “It was serendipitous,” Mel said. “We were both looking for each other, not knowing who each other were or that we even existed.”
The partnership will see Coasties being able to create their very own masterpiece – paintbrush in one hand and glass of wine in the other! The studio is available for parties, company team-building and fundraising events and will also run regular events for the general public.
Art supplies and glassware are included in the 2-hour class along with expert guidance by a professional artist, so that even the most inexperienced painters will be taken care of. The point is to have fun, relax and allow the professionals do the hard work while you enjoy your BYO drinks and nibbles and unleash your inner Van Gogh.
One of the first ‘paint and sip’ events at The Foundry is a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Australia, hosted by Mrs Galaxy Australia finalist Clemence Moore on Saturday 8th February from 6pm.
