26 Aug Chronicle Counsel: Gosford RSL – Here for the community
At the foot of Kariong Hill is Gosford RSL, a venue that is (in our opinion) vital to the Central Coast and an organisation that really does give to its community.
Current events have shown just how essential Gosford RSL is to our region.
When the COVID pandemic began, Gosford RSL pivoted their services rapidly and consequently became a favourite with locals.
Their food delivery /COVID safe pick-up option with a specially created menu during lockdown highlighted their dedication to serving the local community and keeping everyone safe.
If you haven’t yet been through their “drive-thru” at the front of the RSL, you’re well and truly missing out, with coffee, pies, bacon & egg rolls and their lip-smacking beef & gravy roll on offer.
Their online events have become incredibly popular and with social distancing measures in place and a COVID-safe business “tick”, Gosford RSL are also hosting limited in-venue events.
You can view all the events coming up from Gosford RSL on our Central Coast Chronicle “What’s On” Calendar.
Equally popular is Gosford RSL’s OWN beer. Yes, you read correctly, Gosford RSL is brewing their own beer. An Ale – “Sly-Grog”, a dark ale – “The Bolthole” and a mid-strength lager – “Oak Haven-Mid”. You can read more about their brews here.
Gosford RSL has continued throughout the year to assist local businesses, sporting teams and community groups, which means now more than ever, our local community is well and truly supported.
