Chronicle Counsel: ClubsNSW Central Coast Region raises incredible amount for Elsie’s Retreat Project

ClubsNSW Central Coast Region hosted a Golf Fundraising Day on Friday, May 7th, where funds were donated to Elsie’s Retreat Project.

Approximately 114 people teed off first thing in the morning at Wyong Golf Club, and there were several fundraising events across the day.

ClubsNSW Central Coast Region is excited to announce that a total of $20,000 was raised for Elsie’s Retreat Project.
Oana McBride, Elsie’s friend, was in attendance at the Golf Day and said the result was “Incredible, especially for a small group of people, the generosity is so appreciated.”
The funds will be used towards equipment and education for Nurses within the Local Health District to assist with palliative care, both in hospital and in-home care situations.

“I was truly gobsmacked when the total raised was revealed. The funds have come at a critical time for us to enable us to move forward with the next phase for Elsie’s Retreat Project,” finished Oana.
